At Gu Cars LTD, we believe that hard work deserves reward. If you are enthusiastic, reliable, have a good knowledge of the local area and airport routes and speak fluent and professional English, you are welcome to apply to become a company driver. You will need a Guildford taxi license in order to work with us. 

We work on a commission basis so the more journeys you complete, the more money you will receive. We take cash work, account work and credit card work. All Gu Cars LTD drivers are Self-Employed. It is the drivers responsibility to ensure that their vehicle always contains enough fuel to complete each journey and you will be asked to produce MOT and insurance certificates for the vehicle.

All drivers at Gu Cars LTD will be required backgrounds checks. Before starting work with us, you will need to provide us following documents: 

Personal: 

• Driving license (both parts) 
• Driver Taxi badge
• One personal latest photograph
• National Insurance No. (NI)
• Proof of home address

Vehicle:

• Vehicle Registration Certificate (Log Book)
• MOT Test done by council (MOT)
• Taxi insurance
• Taxi license (paper part)

You must have a vehicle less then 5 year old. 

Driver would need Guildford licence.
